Barnet Cottage is a fantastic house that suits large families or groups of friends alike and is an excellent base to enjoy the North Yorkshire Moors and surroundings areas Barnet Lodge is a smaller property which can be rented in conjunction with the house or on its own.

They both have stunning views over open countryside and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Line. Goathland Station is just 2 minutes walk away and from there you can travel via steam train to Grosmont, Lewisham, Pickering and Whitby.

The centre of Goathland Village - Aidensfield in the Yorkshire Television show Heartbeat - is only a 10 minute stroll from the cottage and has local shops and a post office, plus bars and restaurants.

Barnet Cottage and Barnet Lodge have great views of the Goathland Station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway line. For enthusiasts and families alike steam locomotion is splendid to look at. Why not get together with friends and book early to get the two properties for up to 14 people.

Whitby

Barnet Cottage and Barnet Lodge are only a short ride to the beautiful Whitby home to St.Hilda's Abbey and excellent fish and chips!
